She was born to rural schoolteachers in Happy, Texas, and grew up in neighboring small towns. She attended three Texas Universities before receiving her degree in art, then returned for further study at yet another of that state's universities. As demand for her paintings grew through associations with some of the finest galleries across America, she began to understand that success could be both a blessing and a curse. In the early 90's Roberta began experimenting with the use of a computer in her work. Slowly she began to understand the creative potential of combining this new technology with her mastery of traditional artistic techniques.

 The payment for the auction consists of the final winning bid, the Buyer's Premium, all shipping charges, and all applicable taxes. Unless otherwise stated in the auction, our standard Buyer's Premium is 5% of the final bid price. Shipping charges do not have any direct correlation with the purchase price.  Sales tax will be charged on any transaction where either the goods are shipped to a location in Arkansas, California, Indiana, New Jersey or Texas, or the goods being purchased are originating from one of the aforementioned states and the buyer chooses to arrange their own shipping.

 Payments received by the buyer will be processed using a secure server. After the assets have been delivered to the buyer, the buyer will have a two-day inspection period to examine the merchandise and file a dispute in the event of gross misrepresentation of merchandise.

 For international shipments, all duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the buyer, and the buyer must furnish broker information at the time of payment. If the buyer does not have a broker, we will facilitate the clearance of the merchandise for a fee.
