What does it cost me to buy on Liquidation.com?
Liquidation.com does not charge a fee to register and browse through our marketplace. As a winning bidder, you pay the final auction price, a Buyer's Premium, and appropriate shipping fees, which are collected by Liquidation.com prior to goods being shipped from the seller's location. Please note you are in complete control over the price you pay as all of our auctions have no reserve and bidding starts at $100.
Back to the Questions
What is a Buyer's Premium?
A Buyer's Premium is a standard auctioneering fee that helps cover the costs of sourcing products, marketing auctions, running the marketplace and managing services such as payment collection, fulfillment, shipping and inspection. Unless otherwise stated, our standard Buyer's Premium is 5% of the final bid price.
Back to the Questions
When is my payment due?
Payment by winning bidder is due immediately upon the closing of the auction. This payment includes the full amount of the winning bid, the Buyer's Premium, and finalized shipping charges. Payment must be received within 2 business days of auction closing to avoid any penalty and/or cancellation.
Back to the Questions
Is there a penalty if I don't make my payment on time?
There is a cancellation fee applied to any late payments. This fee is 15% of the auction lot price or $200, whichever is greater. If we do not receive the funds or payment within the specified timeframe, you risk your transaction being aborted and your account suspended. We may also contact the next highest bidder to complete the transaction.

What are the different payment options?
Wire transfer - This is the fastest and easiest method of payment. Simply provide your bank with our bank information which we will send to you automatically after you become the winning bidder for an auction and you can transfer the funds directly to the bank account specified. Please remember to include your transaction ID in the wire.
PayPal - PayPal is widely used for online transactions; both first time
buyers and repeat buyers can pay for their transactions using a PayPal
account. In order to pay for your auctions via PayPal, simply log in to My
Account on the Liquidation.com website and follow the payment instructions
under Transactions. All PayPal payments must be made in US dollars from
US Accounts, and we do not accept e-checks. Please keep in mind that
payments via PayPal can only be made by initiating payment from the
Liquidation.com website. If you do not have an account with PayPal, you may
click the link at the bottom of the Liquidation.com website to sign up for
an account. Be sure to set up your account on PayPal prior to bidding on Liquidation.com, because it takes a few days to establish an account with PayPal.
Credit Card - You can use your credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express) to pay for your Liquidation.com transactions. Simply enter the credit card number in the form provided at the time of payment and your transaction will be processed automatically using our secure server.

Back to the Questions
Why don't I see the credit card information I entered
in when placing my bid?
The credit card information you entered prior to placing your bid was required for verification purposes only. Credit card information is encrypted for your security. The credit card is not available when making payment, as it would jeopardize the security of your information.
Back to the Questions
Why am I unable to use my credit card or Pay Pal for transactions over $5,000?
It is Liquidation.com's policy to accept credit card and Pay Pal payments for transactions with a grand total of up to $5,000. If your transaction is above $5000, you are required to send us a wire transfer (instructions will be emailed to you if you are the winning bidder).
Back to the Questions
I am a Canadian Buyer, why can't I use my PayPal account?
We only accept payment via PayPal from our US customers because we do not have the infrastructure to verify addresses outside of the US. In order to qualify for payment via PayPal, the user must supply a US address for their contact, billing and shipping information, and the customer must pay for the transaction in US dollars using a US account. We do allow our Buyers to pay via Wire Transfer, which is a fast and easy method of payment.
