Selected Descriptions:
Also known as "Sister Lovers" - Big Star's legendary 3rd album has been released and re-released countless times around the world with different track listings, different mixes, and different cover art. Now for the first time since it's debut release in 1978 this is being re-released as a vinyl LP with the original cover art, including the innersleeve with the complete detailed liner notes and the original mixes and track listing. The master tape coming directly from Ardent Studios provides the highest sound quality for this vinyl classic - available as it was first released 28 years ago. 180 gram audiophile vinyl reissue.

One of Dusty's rarest and most desirable albums from this era, Ooooooweeee!!! (PMC 7005), issued in March 1965 was another fascinating potpourri of UK singles tracks, stray EP and LP cuts, and material initially exclusive to the release. Amongst the latter were several songs Springfield recorded in New York such as 'Here She Comes' and 'If Wishes Could Be Kisses,' the mono takes of which have different vocal parts to the stereo. Record stampers produced by Record Technology, Inc. Camarillo California, USA.

This 1966 record is the first of 2 albums Percy Mayfield recorded for Ray Charles' Tangerine label. A masterful songwriter whose touching blues ballad "Please Send Me Someone To Love" was a number one R&B hit in 1950, Mayfield was Ray Charles's favorite author during the '60s handing him such gems as "Hit The Road Jack" and "At The Club" and so was signed to the Genius' label. A true master at expressing the innermost feelings, tangled with vulnerability and sensibility: "Life Is Suicide" and "River's Invitation" are two perfect examples of this, along with the wonderful title track, and both are included on this timeless classic. On 180 gram vinyl.

The Academy In Peril by former Velvet Underground member John Cale was originally released in 1972. The album is an exploration of his influences and training in classical music and features mainly instrumental compositions including two tracks with the the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Cale balances the rock-classical fusion on the record with touches of humor while the music is beautiful and subtle showing Cale skills at composing and arranging. Contributors include Ron Wood on guitar, Del Newman on drums and "Legs" Larry Smith of The Bonzo Dog Band. Cover art and design by Andy Warhol. 180 gram vinyl reissue in a die-cut custom gatefold jacket.
